What You Will Create

During the workshop, you will paint a complete Petrykivka-inspired floral composition — the same artwork shown in the workshop image.

You will learn how to build the composition, work with flowing brushstrokes, layer colors, add details, and bring the painting to a finished result.

Materials You Will Need

  • Acrylic paints (Recommended: FolkArt, Craft Smart, Americana, DecoArt, Martha Stewart Crafts, or Liquitex)
  • Round brush, size 4–5
  • Cat brush or small sharp-tip brush
  • Thick paper, minimum 176 gsm, or canvas 12 × 12 inches
  • Water jar, pencil, eraser, bamboo skewers, and cotton swabs
